The Next Chapter

Clytie Sadler, owner, Ampersand Vintage Modern

The Ampersand family is certainly saddened by Andy’s departure. As partners we’ve had a lot of fun adventures over the last year and have worked so very hard to make it the brand we love so much. We will certainly miss him in the day to day operations and I will miss hunting for goods with him on a regular basis. With Thanksgiving right around the corner I’d like to say that I’m thankful for having started Ampersand with Andy and I’m thankful to have such a great friend to have shared this experience with.

I love you Andy.

As Andy mentioned, I’m excited to have him as an occasional guest blogger and sounding board. Also, Andy hasn’t lost his love of shopping and will join me and Rex from time to time as we trove for treasures. Ampersand’s future continues to be very strong. We are working incredibly hard to bring several exciting ideas to fruition; these are some of the things we’ve been working on over the last couple of months: we will begin carrying vintage and modern jewelry from local artisans; you will be getting several peeks into my DIY vintage wedding; we will be launching a fan-based platform called Amperfans; and lastly, we will introduce you to new writers on the blog. This is just a sample of what’s to come and I’m so excited to work with all of these great people.
